The Artemis II Nearing Launch!

The countdown for NASA's Artemis II mission has started at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
Launch team members are taking their places at their workstations in the Rocco Petrone Launch Control Center.
The official countdown clock on site began ticking at 4:44 p.m. Eastern Time, aiming for a liftoff at 6:24 p.m. this evening (Wednesday, April 1).
Artemis II will be the first crewed flight of NASA's big SLS rocket and the Orion spacecraft.
It will send four astronauts on a trip around the Moon.
